Circular, Linear, Cubic

7 LED projection lamps.
Installation view at Conditions of a moment, Hordaland Art Centre, Bergen.

Circular, Linear, Cubic is a projection where the spectator's movement in front of the work activates it by means of a simple effect
made by light and shadows. Several lamps placed in boxes on the floor together projects a dotted line with an arrow at the right end,
indicating a continuation of the line like in a timeline. The lamps are angled in such a way that the shadow of persons passing by
hits the wall in an order that is shuffled according to the conventional chronological order of a timeline. The title lists three different
geometrical figures, two of which are commonly known concepts of temporality; one of which is not.
