Unlearning Optical Illusions

Instruction for the installation. Vinyl lettering on the wall, 60 x 80 cm.

The sheets with texts next to the photographs in the installation becomes invisible when viewing the works
with one eye at a certain distance (the distance is individual to each observer).
The sheets disappears when that part of the visual field falls on the optic nerve head, the area
on the optic disc which is not sensitive to light (known as the blind spot).
