Unseeing is an artist book with essays and illustrations. Notions of vision as metaphor for knowledge in Western thinking is a red thread through the three chapters of the book, Thinking Optically, Unlearning Optical Illusions and Impossible Pictures.
Published as part of the twin publication Dublett – Toril Johannessen. The two separate books in the publication is the artist book Unseeing, and an anthology with texts by Espen Sommer Eide, Peter Galison, Mette Karlsvik, Marit Paasche and Theodor Ringborg.
